Direct Download

So you like music but don’t have the bandwidth and the only uber connection you can get hold of is the office connection. Only problem is that the sys ads blocked off Limewire and other P2P connections because it messes up their porn download. Fear not fellow bandwidth hog, there’s a way to get those music files (and porn) without reverting to P2P.

Welcome … GooFile!

GooFile is a Google powered search engine that traces different open directory listing available for download. It works the same way as Google but adds the different triggers to filter out unnecessary links. With GooFile, you can easily locate albums of favorite musicians and commence acquisition via direct download of the file. You can further enhance this experience by installing a download manager for faster queuing.

Make sure your first download is porn to have a ready trade off in case they inquire about the bandwidth you’ve been consuming (Try Asians or Man whores, Sysads will either like you or leave you alone lol).

YM Tricks

Here’re neat tricks that you can play around with yahoo messenger.

Fool your friends into thinking that you haven’t been using your messenger for a long time by keying-in the following characters after your usual status message. This will trigger the “Idle” text even though you are active with messenger.

[Your status message] 472

Make sure there’s a space before the code À€47À€2

Example:
Dyslexics of the world untie 472

To activate the Music Icon in YM and make it seem that you are listening to some song, type the following in status creation:

[songname] 1872

Example:

Jeff Buckley – Last Goodbye À€187À€2

Cool ey?

Bullshit Generator

The great goal of any company, especially online is to empower collaborative vortals while deploying out-of-the-box web services and optimizing robust markets. Through this we unleash dot-com infomediaries and expedite open-source functionalities. In addition, we must recontextualize extensible e-business to enhance viral solutions and revolutionize distributed technologies.

Sounds like your typical marketing plan ey or worse your boss or even worse, YOU!!!

Dack.com figured out a way to integrate all of the bs running in board rooms into one bullshit generator of a site. Click on this link and see how wonderful (or dreadful) this tool is. I can see consulting companies cringing right now.

One Sip at a Time

One of the local creative geniuses that I truly admire is Ramon Bautista. He’s one of the guys behind strange brew in UnTV (not sure if it’s still running though). In fact I like him more than Tado and Erning combined. He’s spontaneous, creative and real.

Here’s a piece he did titled One sip at a time and it is really hilarious
“I am Ramon Bautista, I am not a digital artist, I am a Filipino…”

Waste of time over Pointless Waste Of Time

It’s a lengthy title and I can already hear the web experts and wannabe web guru cursing at the site for being non user friendly. The site is like living in Anglesey in Wales with this address (Think of the many times you have to write your address)

The entertainment value you get from the site supersedes the fact that the address is a mile long. The site is anything but pointless, and if you’re lucky enough you might learn a thing or two.

A must read in this section is the gamers manifesto, which I truly embrace. Especially the fact that the games now are focused more on graphics than game play (*cough* Neverwinter Nights is the best game of all time *cough*)

Down Stream

I like Youtube and Google video. It's like having an online TV without the subscriptions. These videos give truth to what bad religion said in their song “Truth is stranger than fiction”

Take this video of two Mortal Kombat fanboys as an example.

Problem with YouTube is that it's streaming and cannot be viewed offline. To store the video in your HD and for viewing offline you can go to keepvid. I know it's possible to grab the cached video, but hey, why exert effort when there’s a lazier way of doing things.

Keepvid does background downloading so that users need not load and view the entire stream. Videos can also be queued which makes it more convenient to DL multiple videos per session.

You have to download the player though from the same site to view the .flv files. Now, If only they have pron ...

And the red flag is up!

Finally after creating this blog (along with ten other blogs) I've gone on to populating the site with contents. You see, since the early days of the net I have a knack for creating (and reserving) URL's for my would-be projects that often times result in cancellations not because of lack of initiative but because of a low EQ to actually accomplish and have it rolling.

Thanks to idle times (which occur a lot recently) I'll be regularly updating this site with different pages that I come across with. Being the avid (and heavy) surfer that I am, I come across various sites that are very “interesting” to say the least.

Now sit back, grab a coffee, turn off your cell, and read on while I give you sites to waste your time on. (while EQ is on stack).
